History
This home was built in 1907 by a local Doctor who had his practice here. Purchased in 2008 by the Rock Family, the home underwent some renovations and now includes a Deli located on Fourth Street.
Homestyle Café
The Rock Inn Homestyle Café is open Friday and Saturday night 4PM - 8PM, and Sunday 9AM - 2PM.
Remember when the whole family got together at Mom’s house for dinner, where the food was great and plentiful? Well, welcome to the Rock Inn Homestyle Cafe. Order from our select menu from 11am-8pm where you can enjoy a homemade pork tenderloin sandwich, a Reuben on marble rye bread or an out of this world ½ # hamburger cooked just right served with your favorite soup. From 4pm-8pm, enjoy the all-you-can-eat Buffet packed with your favorite entrees like Roast Beef and Potatoes, Oven-fried Chicken, Chicken and Dumplings, Lemon Garlic Tilapia, or Lasagna, which are but a few of the delicious entrees you will find. In addition to these Entrees, you will find a host of hot and cold side dishes and salads from corn bread to real mashed potatoes and gravy. You're sure to find many tasty treats that you will remember. But don't stop yet...the dessert table still awaits you where you will find pies, cakes, cobblers, puddings, cookies, brownies, and tarts to dazzle your taste buds. If you have any questions, just ask your friendly server who will be happy to help you maneuver your way through the maze of food. If you have groups or meetings to host, our Banquet room will hold up to 25 people for that private get together. On Friday and Saturday night, live music from our baby grand piano can be softly heard playing your favorite tunes of today and days gone by throughout the restaurant. Feel free to break out in song or use the music for that romantic evening for two. After dinner take time to enjoy the front porch swing or rocking chair to let dinner settle before heading home.
Fourth Street Deli
Remember as a youngster when your mom, dad or close relative would take you to your local Deli…where the meat cutter would prepare the night’s supper to take home or slice your favorite lunch meat or cheeses, all right in front of you? Well, welcome to the Rock Inn Delicatessen. Inside, you will find a clean, open-atmosphere filled with mouth-watering lunch meats, fresh meats, entrees, hoagies and cheeses.
Examples:
Lunch Meats: Black Forest Ham, Kettle Fried Turkey, Prosciutto, Capicola, Hard Salami.
Cheeses: Big-Eye Swiss, Colby Longhorn, Asiago.
Homemade fresh sausages: Sweet Italian, Mushroom Cherry, and Bratwurst.
Fresh Meats: Rib Eyes, Fillets, Kearney Strips, Stuffed Pork Chops, Stuffed Chicken Breasts. All ready to go or cut to your order.
Heat and Eat Entrees: Meatloaf and stuffed green peppers. All come with cooking instructions for your family's dining enjoyment. Soups served hot and for take home such as homemade chicken noodle taco soup, green pepper soup & Homemade salads. Examples are potato salad, chicken salad, egg salad.
Hot and Cold Hoagies for lunch and dinner take out: Philly Cheese Steak, or try our home made sausages in a Hoagie Roll with your choice of topping plus a host of cold hoagies like Roast Beef and Swiss, Ham, and Turkey with Colby Jack Cheese.
All of the above are but a few of the delicious surprises that await you at Rock Inn Fourth Street Deli, and remember everything here is homemade in our on-site kitchens with mom’s tried and true recipes. You will always be greeted at the door with a smile and hello, with excellent products and service from our trained meat cutters and informed counter personal. If you would like a sample of a particular product that we carry, just ask (If we don't ask you first). If you are short on time, call ahead or stop and leave your shopping list with us. We will prepare your requests and have them ready for you. For special occasions, we offer party platters with your choice of lunch meats and cheeses. Consider the Rock Inn Bed and Breakfast…with two clean, safe and comfortable rooms to choose from, you are sure to eat well and get a good night’s rest.
Our Rose Room is furnished with a California King-sized bed, private bath with shower and a tub.
The Country Room is furnished with a Queen-sized sleigh bed and private bath with a shower.
For your comfort, air conditioning and cable television is available in each room. Breakfast is your choice, just fill in the menu card and choose a time for your breakfast. Some of the choices are: Biscuits and Gravy, Ham and Eggs, Pancakes, along with juices, yogurts, and cereals to get you going with a proper breakfast. If you are planning a picnic, or going to the lake or sporting event, stop by the Rock Inn Fourth Street Deli for sandwiches, chips, sodas, salads or a great steak!
In the evening, stop at the Rock Inn Home Style Cafe and enjoy home style cooking at its finest. After a long day, relax on the front porch swing, rock the evening away with a good book, or enjoy some time with a friend.
